Wanna know my secret for getting EXTRA motivated when I start a new goal that you can copy? Okay, I’ll tell ya: It’s buying myself some gifts for my goal that I can enjoy right now.
Here are some good examples…
#1 Número Uno Example = Yoga Goddess
Say you want to lose weight and decided you’re gonna take a new yoga class to help you meet your weight loss goals. Well, gift yourself some extra pretty yoga pants and cute tops that look good on your body. Gift yourself a new yoga wheel, new mats, yoga blocks, and some other fun yoga gear that you can practice even when you’re not in class. You can even take it a step further and buy a set of candles and meditation music and practice meditating at home just before bedtime. Ahh, sounds so relaxing!
#2 Número Dos Example = Going Back To College
Say this year you decided you’re going back to college to get on the path to your dream career. A great way to gift yourself is by buying a whole new wardrobe and creating a special place for you to study at home, with a new desk and new home office decor. You could even try a new home decor style to help you welcome your new journey.
Mindset Motivation Options
I love to utilize every motivational tool and all my options when I start a new goal, coz why not if it motivates you + keeps you going? This tells the brain your new goal is not all work, but is fun too! Even if you don’t have a ton of money to gift yourself you can still gift yourself in some way. For example, if you’re going back to college and you can’t afford new home decor, you can go thrift shopping and thrift flip furniture and home decor for less. Not only are you reducing your carbon footprint, but you’ll end up with something unique and special for your new home office study space. If your goal was to lose weight and take up yoga (like I used in the example) and you can’t buy extra yoga gear, just taking yourself out in nature and meditating is a gift to yourself. Get creative and come up with a list of ways you can gift yourself for your new goal. Let’s DO IT Casemiro! Have fun with your goal and kick bootay!
P.S. I love Gordon Ramsay and all his shows. My faves are his old Kitchen Nightmare shows. So, that’s where the Casemiro reference is from, ha! Now you know.
